Bloomsbury, London. This serene statue has, to me, a very ‘sixties’ look to it, very different from the Gandhi statue in Leicester. It was designed by the wonderfully named Fredda Brilliant back in 1967 and unveiled by none less than the Prime Minister of the day, Harold Wilson.
